April 2024

The Drop Edinburgh

This one is very different from your typical half marathon event. It's either a 10 mile (16km) or 15 mile (24km) run, so a little bit less or more than a regular 21km half marathon.

For this event you will have to hand over your electronic devices, phones, watches and money. In return, you will be given a race number and an emergency bag. You will then be put on their bus, blindfolded and dropped off at an unknown location.

All you have to do is run back to the event centre. Bearing in mind, you won't have a map, GPS, route, compass or help.
